Over two days, we’ll experiment with a variety of materials—from watercolor and acrylics to textures, collage, and more—layering colors and techniques to create unique, expressive pieces....

About the Artist
I'm Gabi, artist, mender, and missionary for beauty.
I didn't always value beauty. I didn't always see the great need for reflecting mirrors of the Creator in my life. I used to believe utility, efficiency, and production were the benchmarks of cultivated living. Now I see and know and feel the intrinsic truth that beauty awakens faith.
I learned through difficult seasons that my creativity was a way to bear witness to my humanity and even a sacred way of engaging my hurts and sorrows to offer them up in prayer and petition.
And so art became a healing language for me. I learned I could use my creativity to make beautiful things, even when I hurt. I could use what was already created to make something new that wasn’t there before, bringing a re attunement to my senses.
Art can do this for you, too.

A personal note...
It is truly my heart to walk alongside you as you rediscover your innate, God-given creativity, and re-attune your senses to beauty.
The Lord has allowed my creative gifts, given to me by Him, to be a healing language for me--through the difficult valleys of life, through grief, as well as through seasons of hope and renewal.
I believe your creativity is given to you for the same purpose. This retreat is to serve you as the bridge between where you are and where you want to be. It's my honor to create and participate in beauty alongside you.
Our property is open to you for these 2 days for rest and renewal. I also encourage you to stay in the area! Some of the neighboring towns are quaint and have lots of charm! We're happy to recommend and suggest things to do in the area while you're here.
