A four-week, seasonal, creative apprenticeship to help you build a sustainable creative practice rooted in attention, observation, and beauty.

THE KEEPING PRACTICE

You don't need another course.

You need a practice.

Many of us begin with the best intentions.

We buy the sketchbook. Gather the supplies. Set aside a quiet afternoon to create.

For a little while, creativity finds its way back into our lives.

Then life fills in around it.

The days become busy. The sketchbook is tucked away. Weeks become months, and we quietly wonder when we'll make time to begin again.

The Keeping Practice was created for that very reason.

Not to help you create more.

But to help you keep creating.

A creative life is built by returning.

The Keeping Practice is a four-week, seasonal, creative apprenticeship designed to help you establish a sustainable rhythm of creativity rooted in attention, observation, and beauty.

Each week, you'll receive thoughtful instruction, gentle creative invitations, and opportunities to create alongside a community of women who are learning to make space for beauty in the midst of ordinary life.

Together, we'll fill our sketchbooks with observations, collections, watercolor, ink, written reflections, gathered botanicals, and the small moments that so often go unnoticed.

There is no pressure to perform.

No expectation of perfection.

Only the invitation to return.

Again and again

Imagine looking back a year from now.

Not at a collection of finished projects.

But at a sketchbook that has quietly become a record of your life.

Pages layered with sketches and handwritten reflections.

Pressed leaves gathered on afternoon walks.

Favorite quotations.

Small observations.

Collections of color.

Evidence of a life lived with open eyes and attentive hands.

This is more than a creative habit.

It's a way of living.

Movements: A Four Week Experience

YOUR HOST

Meet Gabi

For years, I've filled sketchbooks with pressed flowers, watercolor studies, handwritten notes, and small observations gathered from everyday life. What began as a creative discipline gradually became something much deeper—a way of slowing down, paying attention, and preserving the beauty I might have otherwise overlooked.

I've learned that creativity isn't sustained by waiting for inspiration. It's cultivated through the quiet practice of returning - a premise that is the backdrop of all of my work.

The Keeping Practice grew from that conviction.

My hope is to help you build a creative rhythm that feels both beautiful and sustainable—one that invites you to notice more, create more consistently, and carry a sketchbook through the changing seasons as a faithful companion to your life.

I'd be honored to welcome you.

~Gabi
