A Maker
Gabi Brown
At the heart of my work is this:
to offer art and creative experience that invite restoration, reflection, and a return to what is true
through beauty, faith, and the quiet work of making
At the heart of my work is the belief that creativity is a gift—
a quiet way to draw near to the Lord, to notice what’s stirring within, and to bring our longings, our joys, and even our grief into the light.
Whether I’m shaping a fine art collection, leading a workshop, or guiding women inside The Mending Garden™, my work is an offering—rooted in faith, inspired by nature, and formed with care.
Each piece, each gathering, is designed to invite reflection and reconnection.
To remind us that beauty matters. That stillness has a voice. And that through the simple act of making, healing can begin to take shape.
My hope is that what you find here encourages you to create with intention, to rest without guilt, and to return—again and again—to the quiet joy of your own God-given creativity.

Meet Gabi
A MAKER
I’m a multi media artist and creative guide whose work is deeply shaped by faith, the natural world, and the redemptive act of making.
My art is born not from ease, but from the honest terrain of life—grief, beauty, waiting, restoration. Over the years, I’ve come to see creativity not just as practice, but as response. As prayer. As offering.
I work primarily with natural pigments, organic fibers, sustainable materials, and handbuilt clay—gathering what the earth gives and forming it into something quietly enduring. Whether I’m painting a fine art canvas, shaping ceramics, or leading a reflective workshop, everything I create begins with the same quiet hope:
to offer a space where rest, reflection, and renewal can gently unfold.
This calling was shaped in the shadows.
The loss of my husband. The weight of single mothering. The ache of more loss even before that.
In those unmade places, the Lord invited me back to the sacred work of making—
to take what felt broken and surrender it to Him in the light.
Creativity became a lifeline. A rhythm of grace.
And now, it’s the path I walk with others—through artwork, experiences, and community that doesn't rush to fix, but gently tends.
Art can hold sorrow and joy side by side.
Beauty is still around us, even on this side.
Through the quiet act of making, we reflect a Maker, and we're reminded—we are not alone.
Whether you’re collecting a piece for your home, exploring a new creative rhythm, or simply longing for a slower, more intentional way to reconnect with your God-given creativity—
you are so welcome here.
