SHIPPING AND RETURNS
Every order, commission, and studio piece is prepared and sent with care. Because much of the work is made by hand, often in small runs or to order, clarity and thoughtful communication are important on both sides. Please take a moment to read the details below before purchasing, and reach out if you have any questions.
If something doesn’t feel right, you’re always welcome to contact the studio and we’ll work through it together.
Orders typically ship within 7 business days, unless otherwise noted in the listing. Some pieces—particularly handbound books, journals, or botanical works—require additional time to finish before shipping.
Once your order ships, you’ll receive a confirmation email with tracking information. Delivery times vary based on location and carrier.
SHIPPING
Please inspect your order promptly upon arrival.
Returns or exchanges for eligible items must be requested within 7 days of delivery.
After this window, we’re unable to accept returns or exchanges.
Because many items are made in small batches or to order, availability for exchanges may be limited. Seasonal timelines (such as the winter holidays) may affect turnaround times.
RETURNS & EXCHANGES
Many items are created specifically for each order. As a result:
Original works, handbound books, journals, and commissioned pieces are final sale.
Sale items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange. This will be clearly noted in the listing.
Each piece is carefully reviewed before being offered, and any variations or details are described thoughtfully so you can make an informed decision.
MADE-TO-ORDER & STUDIO WORK
If an exchange is approved for an eligible item, the original piece must be returned to the studio before a replacement is sent.
Because items are produced in limited quantities, a restocking fee may apply to returned items. This helps offset the time and materials involved in preparing work that is made with intention rather than mass-produced.
EXCHANGES & RESTOCKING
If you are returning an item:
Please use the original packaging whenever possible.
If your item arrived in a tube, it must be returned with both end caps.
If original packaging is no longer available, please purchase a sturdy mailer or tube from your local post office.
Items damaged during return shipping due to insufficient packaging cannot be refunded or exchanged.
PACKING FOR RETURNS
DAMAGED OR LOST PACKAGES
Every order is packaged carefully to protect the work in transit. That said, once a package leaves the studio, it is in the hands of the shipping carrier.
If your item arrives damaged:
Please contact the studio promptly with photographs and a description of the issue. Each situation is handled on a case-by-case basis. In some instances, you may be asked to file a claim with the shipping carrier.
Damage that occurs after delivery (through handling, exposure to moisture, heat, or light) is not eligible for replacement.
If your package is marked “delivered” but cannot be located:
Please first confirm that the shipping address provided at checkout was correct. If the address is incorrect, replacement is not available. If the address is correct, you’ll need to contact the shipping carrier directly to investigate.
If a package is returned to the studio as undeliverable, it can be reshipped once additional postage is covered.
Because the work involves natural materials, botanical processes, and handbinding, variation is part of the work’s character. Colors may appear differently across screens, and subtle shifts in tone, texture, and impression are expected.
Please read descriptions carefully and view images on multiple devices if color accuracy is a concern. If you feel a different piece would be a better fit for your space, you’re welcome to inquire about an exchange where applicable.
