Step into A BEAUTIFUL ART Community
The Mending Garden® is a quiet, ongoing space for creative practice rooted in faith, making, and attention. Through watercolor, mixed media, and gentle seasonal rhythms, members are invited to tend their creativity as one might tend a garden—returning often, working slowly, and allowing what is worn or fragmented to be gathered and held with care.
This is not about producing more, but about letting the act of making move toward mending, offering companionship, steadiness, and hope through the work of our hands.

EXPERIENCE A CREATIVE RETREAT in 2026
Gabi offers a small number of immersive creative experiences each year, shaped by place, season, and a shared attention to the natural world.
Each experience offers time to work with plants, paper, and cloth; to explore creative practices in conversation with landscape; and to travel in a way that supports both curiosity and rest.
BOTANICAL PRINTING & WATERCOLOR FLORALS
In May 2026, a small group will gather for a creative retreat focused on botanical printing. Over 2 unhurried days, we’ll work directly with plants—gathering, pressing, and printing—allowing time, material, and place to guide the experience. This retreat offers space to step away from hurry, settle into a slower rhythm, and spend time alongside others in a setting that supports creative exploration and rest.
This creative experience will take place on Gabi’s farm in middle Tennessee. Join the First to Know list to be notified of additional details when available
BOTANICAL PRINTING & WATERCOLOR FLORALS
Gabi has partnered with UpTrek to offer an eight-day creative journey in the Loire Valley, June 22-29, 2026. Throughout the experience, participants will explore botanical printing on paper and cloth, line-and-wash approaches to painting botanicals, artist book creation, and simple hand-binding techniques. Time is also given to working in sketchbooks, drawing inspiration from the surrounding landscape, and cultivating creative practices that support rest and renewal while traveling. The days are designed to unfold gently, guided by curiosity, nature, and shared exploration.
